Gift Reviews, Pampered Foods
Wellness Pet Food
Santa is coming in a matter of weeks and our household is very excited. We are almost completely organised and well on our way to a relaxing holiday. There will be gifts and treats for all including my little doggie Tyke. My sister has a dog and as we buy for each other’s children every year we also buy for each others pets.
Leann is quite fussy so I have had to research some of the best pet foot and pet ‘treat’ brands on the market. As with all my features, I aim for the most natural and ‘planet friendly’ products and I believe I have found the ‘Gold Star’ of all pet foods when I discovered Wellness.
Wellness Pet Food’s are completely natural – they contain all your pet needs to grow and thrive and none of the ‘nasties’ we have heard about that some other companies tend to ‘slip’ into dog food.
Wellness are the no.1 pet food brand in the US and they have now launched in the UK with Pets At Home – lucky us!
The clever people at Wellness know that a pets nutrition is the foundation of their well-being and their foods contain the correct ingredients which supply a completely balanced nutritional meal. They have a fab range for dogs and I have sampled some of this – or rather, my dog has!
We have the Small Bread Healthy Weight dry dog food. I use this one as my dog has been neutered and the vet recommends a lower fat food as a result of the associated reduced activity.

Tyke has adapted well to his new food and I notice no difference apart from his weight loss – I had been getting a few comments about his weight despite the fact that his treats were always healthy ones and he is walked daily. This Wellness dry dog food has 30% less fat and it was just what he needed.
So whether you are shopping for your own pet or simply for a pets ‘gift’ check out the Wellness range at Pets At Home. There are lots of foods to choose from in the Wellness range and I was able to select the correct food for my sisters dog easily and the assistant helped me select suitable treats as well.
The bag I have highlighted costs £12.99 for 1.8kg so its very good value.
