Leisure Gifts, Pampered Experiences, Pampered Foods
Pizza Hut at the Odyssey, Belfast.
Last month we traveled to Belfast to see a show at the SSE Arena. We always plan to arrive in plenty of time to get a ‘good’ parking slot – this means one near the exit gates. I had my three children with me and we decided to have our tea at Pizza Hut on site simply as it was so handy and I have yet to have a meal at a Pizza Hut that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy!
There was no waiting and we were shown straight to a table, this is just what you want with three kids in tow. At Pizza Hut, I love the extensive choice. I could literally eat in Pizza Hut every day and never order the same food. They keep updating the restaurants as well which is fab – look at this super theme below!
Although my pizza variety varies I always begin with a salad. The selection and display always looks so tempting and I know its prepared fresh every day.
The kids menu had a good selection of pasta and pizza and all for a reasonable price. They could order pizza without onions and with extra pepperoni – resulting in three very happy kids. My son simply couldn’t decide there was so much choice!
Plates were soon ‘clean’ and there were fully tummies all round! However, not too full that they didn’t partake of pudding.
Dessert at Pizza Hut has got to be the most exciting experience for kids ever! The ice cream ‘factory’ was in full swing with a little line of kids patiently waiting to have their turn at using the very ‘cool’ ice cream machine.
My kids had such fun selecting their favorite sauce, chocolate of course, filling the glass with ice cream and topping off with some sweeties.
I must add that the kids were not given a glass dish but a plastic alternative ‘ice cream Sunday dish’ so they could safely serve themselves. I have to admit that I preferred this experience myself to ordering a dessert from the menu and the child in me really enjoyed it, as did my eldest daughter – you are never too old for ice cream!
So, all this in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere despite being located in one of the busiest buildings in Belfast – I simply cannot rate Pizza Hut at the Odyssey highly enough.
Next time you visit, allow extra time for a ‘slap up’ meal at Pizza Hut – you won’t be disappointed.
