Neato Botvac D85

I have had the good fortune to find that ONE life changing household device and I am absolutely delighted since its discovery!  The device is …. the Botvac D85 by Neato and it is the most amazing robotic vacuum cleaner.

How has this changed my life?? I have had back pain for the past 4 years and my Dr has strictly forbid me from using a vacuum. The house suffered as a result as hubby wouldn’t be as ‘particular’ as myself!! Since I have had the Botvac D85 the house is always clean and free from dust and, more importantly, dog hair!

Let me start with some really basic information on this machine. Firstly, it is programmed with enough high technology to ‘blow your mind’ if you sat down and read the small print. I did exactly that and then stopped as I couldn’t wait to try it out – the Botvac D85 sounded too good to be true!

Neato claim this machine will scan your room, move up mats and avoid toys, furniture etc and many other amazing attributes are highlighted. The most mind blowing function for me has to be that it will not fall down the stairs! This is fab – I can really sit back and watch my house get expertly cleaned with minimal effort on my part.

The Botvac D85 is specifically designed to clean up pet hair – this is why I was particularly interested in this Neato model. I have a little Jack Russel and he sheds hair at a terrible rate. You could literally ‘pluck’ him. I have sat and watched the kids stoke him and wafts of hair will flow freely up into the air and then settle on my wooden floor!

The Botvac D85 lifts every last hair, even in the corners. It will happily move from room to room and cleans equally as well on the wooden floor as it does on carpet and tiles. As well as expertly vacuuming the house, the Botvac D85 does this task QUIETLY – something I deem very important. I used to have a kettle and had to get rid of it as the noise of the water boiling meant you couldn’t hear anyone on the phone or anyone in the same room talking. The Botvac D85 vacuums quickly and quietly making it a rather interesting experience to watch.

When I take into the housework I know when I need a ‘re-charge’ and off I go to the kitchen for another coffee! When the Botvac needs to charge, it does exactly the same! It will navigate back to its charging station and charge, then it will start again where it left off – pretty cool isn’t it?

Did anyone watch Breaking Bad?? I am sure almost everyone has either heard or watched this riveting series. Well, when Jessie made it big and invested in a superb sound system he also make another purchase – a robotic vacuum cleaner. This was my first encounter with the like and I was so excited to actually have one of my own! We all know how Jessie made his money to afford a robotic vacuum cleaner but you will be pleased to know you don’t have to set up a meth lab in your camper van to afford one! The suggested retail price is £449.99 and this includes the filters and brushes you need. In my honest opinion, this is an exceptional price.

I know I cannot put a price on my health and the fact that I am able to get up in the morning pain free and have limited pain during the day is simply priceless.  When I used to vacuum I always knew I would spend the rest of the day on the sofa stiff as a board – it really is the worst task anyone with disc trouble can do and I have read in so many medical journals not to vacuum if you have any back pain what-so-ever. Hence, my earlier statement that I have found a life changing device – I meant every word!  I urge you to try the Neato Botvac D85 if my story sounds similar to your own situation.
