Born Gifted Bang on the Door Football Crazy Kit Bag
I never look forward to all the labeling I have to do come the first of September. However, its very necessary as my kids tend to be a little absent minded and misplace quite a lot of belongings over the school term – I am sure I am not the only mum who has this complaint!

Brita Fill&Go Water Bottle
My followers will know by now that I have a ‘bee in my bonnet’ about BPA in plastics! I spent a lot of time looking for BPA free water bottles for the kids when I was preparing for the new school term in September. Once again, I have returned to my ‘old favourite’ – Brita.
Brita water jugs have been adorning my kitchen bench for as long as I can remember. I have faith in them to the point that no-one dares fill the kettle with water straight from the tap!
I would be quite fussy with my water and rightly so – sometimes when I run the tap especially first thing in the morning the smell of chlorine is terribly strong. There is no way I would drink this unless it has passed through my filter jug.
My jug is rather large and I love that I always have plenty of filtered water ready to go. Brita also supply jugs for your fridge – these are narrower and fit neatly into the door or on the shelf.
I love the ‘Navelia’ and I have this in yellow. Its perfect for my fridge and my kids frequently reach for it when they want a drink of pure, clean cold water. The Marella comes in a great selection of fun bright colours to suit all styles and kitchens. It holds 1.4 litres of water and the flip top lid means I can refill this with one hand – perfect for a mum who is as busy as myself!
RRP £22.00 from Amazon and other good retailers.
However, no matter how large the water bottle, the kids always come home with it empty and tell me I should have given them 2 water bottles! Problem solved, once again, with Brita Fill&Go.
Have you checked out the new Brita Fill&Go water bottles? If not, do so – these are PERFECT for children heading out to school in the morning and need water on the go. They come in a variety of colours as well.
My daughter is going to secondary school next week and she will be away for quite a long day. She will have a Brita Fill&Go water bottle packed in her bag.
When she has this empty all she has to do is fill it again at a tap and this clever system filters the water in the bottle! Jenny prefers to drink from an upright water bottle and Brita have cleverly added a straw so she can do this. The straw can also be removed so you can tip the bottle back to drink either.
The Brita Fill&Go retails at £9.99 and comes with 4 filter discs. Britta recommend changing these weekly. They can easily be bought from local supermarkets or on Amazon.

Back to School 2015.
I have had a brilliant summer despite never actually experiencing 2 days in a row where the sun shone! I feel rested and revived but am still skeptical when I think of the beginning of September and the routine which will ensue. My eldest daughter is moving to secondary school so I have an extra trip each morning. Needless to say, I am trying my best to prepare all we need well before September.
My local shoe shop is crammed full for the entire month of August. I am left thinking do I buy school shoes early or do I wait and prepare for huge queue? This year I have explored another option – Brantano!

OXO Little Salad & Herb Spinner
It is with utmost pleasure I am writing about the OXO Little Salad & Herb Spinner for it is my hottest kitchen gadget at the moment. Previous to discovering this brilliant invention, I used a rather colourful and trendy looking salad spinner. The downside was the holes along the bottom – I don’t know why these were there as I could never put the spinner in the fridge as residual water leaked out! Another downside was the size. With the lid on, this simply would not fit on any shelf in my fridge.
Now, the OXO Little Salad & Herb Spinner is altogether different. The size is perfect for holding an entire lettuce.

Kazam Tornado 348
Phones, oh how they have changed! I remember my first phone like it was yesterday – and to be honest, I did hang onto it for quite some time. Yes, it was old but it worked and served me well. It’s like all products, if they work well and if the company offers a good follow up service, we can rest easy continuing to use that particular product in the faith that, in unforeseen events, we have a back up plan.
The KAZAM Tornado 348 is the exact product you are looking for if you need the latest technology combined with super ‘all singing all dancing’ customer care.
Like any other android phone, you can have all the apps you like to keep you connected, with all the latest super smart features. All this, yet the KAZAM Tornado 348 still manages to be the worlds slimmest smartphone at an amazing 5.15mm!

Moonpig Gift Boxes for Mother’s Day.
I can’t believe how fast the year is passing! Mother’s day is creeping upon us now and I have a really great suggestion which will cover all bases – the card, a personal photo/message and a wonderful gift mum will love. How? – why with Moonpig of course!
With Moonpig you simply select your card, add a photo or message and then pick from some wonderful gift boxes – all this without moving from one site to another! I think this is a fabulous way of saving your time and delivering a wonderful meaningful gift this Mother’s Day.
I adore Moonpig’s new ‘Bath in a Box’ gift set. My mum would love this and so would I. The set, as with all Monnpig’s gifts, comes wonderfully presented in a sturdy gift box which is perfect for reusing as yet another storage box! I love it when a gift arrives in a nice box and I re-use it as a storage container for hair clips/sewing accessories/buttons/make-up etc.
The set itself includes:
- Secret Paradise Hydrating Body Cream 200ml
- Secret Paradise Cleansing Shower Cream 200ml
- Secret Paradise Bathing Flowers 70g
- Lily Flame ‘Bathing Beauty’ Large Scented Candle
- Exfoliating Body Puff
With a selection like this, mum will be delighted with the ‘Bath in a Box’ gift from Moonpig. RRP £35
On another note, I wanted to show how Moonpig can be very handy for a various range of gifts. My daughter gets asked to so many parties and keeping on top of the presents is sometimes difficult. Sometimes I resort to putting money in with the card but I think its hard to beat receiving an actual gift. Have a look at Moonpig’s ‘Girls Night In Box’ below. RRP £25
I asked my daughter to have a look at the range and select something for her friend’s birthday and this was what she picked.
The set contains:
- Retox Pack – contains hair, eye, face & foot mask
- Nail Art Pink & Yellow duo with glitter
- Safari Nail care kit
- Friendship bracelets
- Nail Polish Remover Pads
