I adore plants and have them in every room in the house. Watering them can sometimes present itself as a chore though, especially in the winter when the central heating is on and the soil tends to dry out. This is the reason I was so keen to try the self watering planters from Lechuza.
Bloom & Wild Letterbox Flowers is really worth a ‘visit’! Imagine having the freedom of sending flowers without the inconvenience of finding out when the recipient will be in to receive them? Well, with Bloom & Wild Letterbox Flowers that problem is solved.
Hello fellow campers and welcome to another review of a fab Olpro product – the Olpro Laurel Hedge Windbreak.
This windbreak is not the only windbreak I own but it is the most ‘fun’ one. Perfect for both the beach and camping, this will be your fav camping accessory for sure.
I have had a brilliant summer despite never actually experiencing 2 days in a row where the sun shone! I feel rested and revived but am still skeptical when I think of the beginning of September and the routine which will ensue. My eldest daughter is moving to secondary school so I have an extra trip each morning. Needless to say, I am trying my best to prepare all we need well before September.
My local shoe shop is crammed full for the entire month of August. I am left thinking do I buy school shoes early or do I wait and prepare for huge queue? This year I have explored another option – Brantano!

Alex Scheffler and Julia Donaldson have played a very prominent part in my children’s bedtime routine for many years, Highway Rat, Room on the Broom, Stick man, Tiddler, we have them all in our bookcase. The writing and Illustrations in these fun-filled, captivating stories will stay with me forever.
However, our first purchase has remained the firm favourite, ‘The Gruffalo’. Even my seven-year-old leaves his ‘famous Five’ novel and slides over unto the sofa to hear the adventure of the ‘Mouse who took a stroll in a deep, dark, wood’……and outwitted the Owl, Snake and Fox who wanted to make him dinner….
Needless to say, My Little Girl (she’s 2yrs) adores her Gruffalo Wellington Boots and my boys oohed and ahhhed when they saw them. They are worn on country walks, trips to the park, on the school run and inside the house, basically whenever they’re spotted, shoes are removed and on they go….
