Camping Specialbuys from Aldi.
Camping, you either love it or hate it. I love it, I think… In fact, ask me again after the summer holidays! We have yet to venture further than the back garden but this summer we have big plans. Kitted out with the necessary accessories I plan to haul the kids from the furthermost Northern point of Ireland to the glorious South. We live on the most beautiful island and it is such a pity the majority of people pay thousands to visit Spain every year. I appreciate the many local attractions and scenery and would love the kids to grow up with a sense of pride from their upbringing on the Emerald Isle.
Working part-time has its benefits as I feel I am ‘there’ for the kids when they need me but financial impact is huge. We are topping up our camping accessories this year from Aldi. Why pay more? Aldi has top quality goods at a fab price. I have proved this over the years and have always been delighted with my purchases.
I love the ‘Special buys’ and I have found many bargains while only ‘nipping in’ for a pint of milk. The adventure camping accessories are in store nationwide from 22nd May and the family camping from 26th June – I will be the first one in the shop as when they are gone they are gone!
Whatever you need to ensure your camping trip runs smoothly you will find at Aldi. From tracking sandals, insect repellent socks and walking shoes to tents and groundsheets, Aldi have it all.
My daughter has the tracking sandals. She is so fussy about what she puts on her feet – they have to be super comfy as well as having an element of ‘cool’ about them.
These two qualities usually are not found in the same shoes but she really loves her sandals. The Velcro close lets her adjust them to the correct width and the sole is quite soft so they can be worn all day without becoming uncomfortable. RRP £10.99
Hubby was really impressed with the bamboo socks. RRP £3.99. They have padding where it is needed at the heel. I always prefer bamboo clothing as it far surpasses cotton – much more environmentally friendly. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, it thrives naturally and is 100% biodegradable.
Another nifty little gadget I must mention is the camping cutlery. With 7 functions and folding into a tiny pouch, this really is a must. No-one wants to pack knives, forks and spoons on any camping trip so I will be buying 5 of these for our trip as they are so handy and inexpensive.
RRP £1.99
