Eyejusters
As we all know, as you get older your eyesight deteriorates. During a routine visit to the optician, my husband, who wears glasses, was asked, now that he has crossed the 40 milestone, if he would like to change his glasses to bifocals. Of course, he refused! I think he was shocked to have been asked the question in the first place!
Anyway, for those of us who are just noticing a slight eyesight deterioration as we get older, it’s very handy to be able to run into Boots or even Primark and pick up a nice pair of glasses. In fact, they are so cheap, you can have a pair to match every outfit! However, what happens if you need bifocals and you don’t want the hassle of going to the optician?
Well, I have discovered the solution… Eyejusters. Yes, you read that correctly! Google it, they are an amazing new invention. They are, literally, adjustable focus reading glasses. That means, depending on what you are trying to do, you can adjust the focus of your glasses to suit. You can actually change the strength from +0.00 to +3.00 D.
How many times have you been with someone who forgot their glasses and they ask to borrow yours? (My mum does this all the time!) Well now, she can borrow them and adjust the lens so it suits her perfectly – what a cool idea.
Personally, I love sewing and crochet but as a busy mum, I generally only have time late at night and by then the light is poor so it’s harder to concentrate. I find Eyejusters great as I can adjust to suit the task or even the time of day. For someone who switches from viewing a computer screen to a TV screen throughout the day, they are the perfect solution.
The adjusting is very simple, there are 2 dials on the sides. Eyejusters are not fiddly at all and would be easily managed by just about anyone. They would make a very useful present for anyone who wears glasses, or should be wearing glasses. I should also mention that they are ideal for someone who has different sight in one eye from the other as they can be adjusted separately.
Eyejusters offer a no quibble 30 day refund policy if you find they are not for you so you can try them with peace of mind. Prices start at just £69. The glasses themselves are sturdy and well made and come in a variety of colours so there’s something to suit everyone. Try them, I think you won’t be disappointed, they’re really amazing.
