I totally enjoyed this review, but not as much as my dog! When the brown box arrived and I carried it in and placed it on the kitchen table, despite the food being in a sealed box within a sealed box, my dog went nuts! He is a little Jack Russell and he knew exactly what was in the box before I did. His tail wagged and wagged and he barked when I was looking for something to open the box with – like he was saying ‘ hurry up stupid woman!’
The bag of food had ‘Tyke’ on the front and there was no way he was waiting until dinner time to try this out. He wolfed down his first bowl before I had time to read how much to give him!
A little measuring cup was included with instructions on how much he needed and a leaflet letting me know about the food and the preferences I had selected.
Although I had said ‘little’ dog, he is not so little. I had specified that he was 8kg and had been neutered so his food should be low calorie.
It came as small brown chunks and even I thought it didn’t half smell good! Tyke will NEVER go back to his Royal Canine. We are delighted his new Tails.com food costs £15 a month and his Royal Canine would have been almost twice that. I tried to use up his old batch of food by mixing it with the new Tails.com food but my clever doggie was able to pick out the small brown chunks from the small circular food – isn’t that so clever!!
If I need to pause Tykes deliveries this takes one minute on the website, or if I need to change the food or the amount either – its one if the most straightforward websites I have navigated. This is also explained on the food bags so its a no-brainer really.
