New Drumond Park Games for Christmas 2015.

I am addicted to board games – I think its the entire concept and that there are no ‘screens’ involved that makes them so appealing! Kids spend way too much time in front of a screen and when given fun and interesting board games my kids are just as happy. I usually have at least 2 Drumond Park games ‘on the go’ in my playroom at any one given time. The kids love these games and are always on the lookout for new ones.

This Christmas Drumond Park have several new games – I have selected 3 in particular to feature as they seemed the perfect choice for my family.

Rattle me Bones.

The box of this game says it all – its descriptive, modern, in cartoon style and very appealing to young children. My son has chosen this one as a firm favorite as he is skeleton mad! Rattle Me Bones is a game of skill and the ability not to ‘shake’ with laughter or you will spook the skeleton and ‘rattle his bones’!

The object of the game is to collect 3 pieces of treasure from Captain Bones without ‘tipping him off’. You will do this if you are a little heavy handed – the treasure must be slowly and carefully lifted from him or he will literally begin jumping and shaking. As you can imagine, there is a lot of fun to be had with this ingenious game and you can have this for only £17.24 on Amazon now!

Gee Whizz

This is not a ‘game’ but a magic set aimed at kids from the age of 5yrs and upwards – right up to dad’s age!

Drumond Park have included several magic tricks that your child will be able to preform with minimal effort and training. I have watched my son play out these tricks on unsuspecting guests and they have genuinely been very impressed.

The set has quite the variety and all for only £19.99. I love the optical illusions but am equally as impressed with all the tricks.

As I have come to know with Drumond Park, this set is made from high quality materials and it will last. We have been using the various tricks for the past 2 weeks and the entire set remains as new. There are a number of magic sets on the market but choose wisely – Gee Whizz will stand the test of time and frequent to rather a good investment into quality fun and family time.

Just like the hit TV show, why not challenge your family and friends to the board game version of Family Fortunes?  The game features ‘show’ sounds, Fastest Finger First, ‘Single Money’ and Double Money rounds and the Big Money round. This is a great game for an adults night in and even for an afternoon with the grandparents. My kids play this game in teams and its the first game to come out of the cupboard when they have friends over. I cannot recommend it enough and its only £19.99!
