The blog says it all, how people in far away countries are helped make a living for themselves, their families and for their community buy MsGlocal. I couldn’t tear myself away from this site, the stories were so touching and REAL, the jewellery and other accessories were so beautiful and unique.
MsGlocal help people market their hand-made products who would otherwise have difficulity. They help with business plans and practices and best of all – they provide a platform for workers to sell their products.
MsGlocal products can be found at Mania Mia Boutique, Fulham London. I now want to go there and see the products for myself!
I have had the pleasure of reviewing a bracelet from MsGlocal.
Made from cultivated pearls from Guatamala, this stunning hand crafted multi strand bracelet is something I will treasure forever. The pearls are gorgeous, each different in size and colour and so unique. There are 12 strands of beads and pearls so also very on trend as everyone is ‘stacking’ their jewellery these days. The label – Kem Ajachel Comunidad made me want to find out exactly who this is and I am so excited to tell you it was on the MsGlocal blog. Watch this video and you will understand the full impact of what this company actually does.
(Tip – watch it BEFORE you put your mascara on!)
‘Weaving modern opportunities through traditional techniques’, this is how jewellery should be made, with the reassurance of knowing it was produced in a healthy well supported environment by traditional craftsmen and women.
Shop MsGlocal from Mania Mia this Christmas and MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Every item bought is helping support the company who support the workers.
