Minions Hit Them Out and Skylanders Kimble Game.

Christmas is officially on the horizon in our house – as soon as Halloween has passed I am itching to get the tree down from the attic! I am well on my way with the task of ‘gifting’ and have Minions Hit Them Out and a Skylanders Kimble Game stashed to keep the kids entertained on Christmas evening.

After Christmas dinner my family has a tradition – ‘No DS, Tablets, Wii, Minecraft etc’ Christmas evening is spent playing board games and other fun ‘non-computerised’ games in front of the fire with the grandparents. I have selected these games as they are brilliant fun and, lets face it, Skylanders and Minions are very popular this year!

My son is 6yrs and he loves this game. Its played at least every other day from it arrived. It looks well and is also very well make and sturdy so this would also be an excellent gift. The object is to move your Skylanders pawns around the board to your ‘home’.

Although some skill is required, there is also an element of luck so this is a great game for all ages. Available from Amazon and all good toy retailers for £15.99.

Minions Hit Them Out

This game is based on the traditional ‘Skittles’ and is perfect for all ages as well, especially the younger members of the family. The different Minions have different scores when they are hit so this game is a great mix of skill and luck. My girls are 12yrs and 10yrs and this is their ‘flavor of the month’ game, they have a book specifically for keeping score and the competition can get rather intense at times!

Minions Hit Them Out has won the highly commended Dad’s Choice Award 2015 – something to be very proud of!
