Judge Spring Form Heart Shaped Cake Tin

I used to be a huge fan of Pampered Chef, it was rather an addiction. There stuff is fabulous but they have now pulled out of the UK and only sell in USA. This was a big loss but it required me to find another great cook and bakeware supplier closer to home. I achieved two things with this – firstly I discover Judge which was 1 – just as good if not better quality, and, 2 – available to buy in local shops! Happy days!!

Judge bakeware is now spilling out of my cupboards and we love it. Our latest addition is this fab heart shaped cake tin.

This tin has a spring form base which is something of a must. Its non-stick and also comes in other shapes and sizes. We made our debut cake in this tin with a Betty Crocker cake mix – the carrot cake and also bought her cream cheese style icing to go with it. The cake mix is about £2 and we just needed to add eggs and water so very handy indeed. The mix perfectly fitted the size of the tin – like it was made for it.

The fact that the edges come away make this a completely non-fail cake tin – you simply cannot go wrong.

The kids loved covering their cake in the cream cheese icing and it looked fab on completion.

You could whip this up for a Valentine’s day tea or as a special birthday cake with minimal prep and washing up.

Our cake was deliciously moist and thoroughly enjoyed!
