Jamela Grape Seed Eye Cream and Lotus Serum.
I have to admit to a certain amount of vanity and resenting the aging process a little! I don’t go overboard but I would swear by cleansing, toning and moisturising daily. I have used a facial moisturiser and an eye cream for 20 years and like to think they are doing a great job!
However, as 40 draws near, I am now using a serum as recommended by a beautician. Your skin needs something extra from the age of 35yrs onwards and I have spent some time researching what to use.
The Jamela skincare range impressed me as they back up everything they use in their creams, and explain why these are beneficial. The website is easily navigated and best of all, the price is what I would call ‘middle of the range’ – not too cheap or too expensive.
Grape Seed anti-wrinkle Overnight Eye Cream.
Fine lines and wrinkles are not welcome and I hate to see them appearing! I have selected this eye cream as this is specifically what is deals with.
The Grape Seed eye cream is anti-wrinkle, lifting, nourishing and revitalising. Many eye creams devide these benefits into several products and leave you wondering which to choose but Jamela have all my concerns in one product.
‘The combination of ingredients have been specially formulated to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, with the additional benefits of nourishing and revilatising tired skin around the eyes.
Grape Seed Oil helps to increase the production of elastin, while the animo acid moisturiser and Jojoba Oil with its inherent emollient properties will moisturise and tighten the skin to create a healthier, lifted appearance.’ (Jamela)
This eye cream is to be used at night, sparingly. RRP £19.75 for 40gm Tub.
I am very pleased with the result. My skin feels soft and hydrated. Lines do appear diminished, definitely less pronounced. This is excellent value compared to other creams on the market that only claim to deal with certain aspects of ageing.
I am also using the Lotus Intensive Hydrating Serum. Jamela have 3 different serums and I selected this one as it deals with hydration issues – I firmly believe if skin is hydrated through drinking enough water and moisturising, we will reduce the signs of aging.
This is another product that claims multiple benefits:
- Firming
- Renewing
- Anti-Wrinkle
- Improves Elasticity
- Healing
- Cleansing

Ladies, if it is skin like velvet you crave – this is the product for you! I adore this serum. My skin instantly feels smooth and as soft as velvet. This feeling stays all day and I would also notice that when I have the heat on while driving the car, my skin no longer feels like it is drying out.
Excellent value for only £17.
I strongly recommend you try these products and see for yourself how spending less can actually do more for your skin.
Put Jamela on your wish list and email it to your hubby now! I have just selected further products and am really looking forward to Christmas day!
