The new iFit Classic fitness tracking watch is really something. Its a watch first and foremost and it looks like a watch, however, its also a brilliant fitness tracking device.
iFit claim to have the world’s leading fitness platform, connecting their fitness devices to smartphones, treadmills, stationary bikes etc. IFit offer comprehensive information, personalised training and connection to a massive community of users – over 30million miles were logged in one year by the iFit community, wow, imagine having that support behind you! I think this could be the motivation I need so I am now an iFit ‘addict’ and loving it.
The iFit classic watch is available in two colours – obsidian black/platinum or frost white with rose gold tones. I have the black and I love it. The face has 3 fitness dials that track steps, calories, sleep and distance.
This is really handy if you feel you have had a good day but the iFit classic will let you know if you have not reached your daily activity goal to stay in shape and healthy.
In particular, I love that I can track my calories easily and directly and I can make decisions regarding food choices and exercise and the results are quickly checked and tracked.
However, I am not so fond of the vibration alerts when I am sitting down with my feet up watching telly. I do note them and respond – in time!
The ‘Move Ready’ technology is exclusive to iFit and its pretty amazing – with some other fitness trackers you have to change modes when you change the type of activity you are doing. With the iFit Classic, the modes change themselves as this clever tracker can detect which activity you are doing. This makes wearing the tracker so easy and hassle free.
I also have to add that the iFit classic is water proof and the battery charge lasts up to 7 days. I have tried very hard to find a negative point to comment on but I have failed miserably! The iFit classic really is fantastic and it would make a perfect Valentine’s day gift for your other half.
The iFit classic is available from www.nordictrack.co.uk for a really good price of £199
