Name 3 things – for example, that you brush, that you may find under the sofa, you can paint, and so on. The longer you play, the more ridiculous the answers you come up with. I love it! Lots of laughter and fun all round to be had with this fast paced game.
Players take it in turn in the ‘hot seat’ and the winner has 5 seconds to answer the question. Moves can be made forward with a ‘pass on’ and ‘switch’ card, thing can become very confusing – in a fun way!

Just dance 2014 Wii Game
I love it when my children ask for Wii games from Santa. The Wii is an absolutely super way to exercise, while having fun at the same time.
Just Dance 2014 is the latest addition to my daughter’s long Santa List.

This is a brilliant game with the biggest songs of the year along with classics like Ghostbusters and YMCA. Modern hits such as the latest from Katie Perry and Nikki Minaj are included so it’s going to be very noisy in our house this Christmas – the kids will be shouting ‘Mum, turn the volume down!’

Its Your story Snowman Book.
This is a super company, any spare ‘computer time’ I have, I always find myself browsing their website. Check it out for those Christmas presents you have yet to buy this year.
Its Your story was the first company in the UK to sell personalised books for children and they are definitely the best yet. The variety is super, with books to suit all occasions and both boys and girls. I choose a Christmas themed book to keep it seasonal and I was very impressed with the book I received.

Sci-fi Sledge from QVC.
Do you prefer summer or winter? That’s a hard question, both have ups and downs.
I love the warmer weather, but I absolutely adore snow. We do not always get snow in Ireland, but I have my fingers crossed for this year!

If you are looking for building blocks – the expensive ones (without mentioning any names!) but are shopping on a budget, I have the solution.
Wilko have crated Blox – check it out, they are 100% compatable with other building blocks such as Lego, but 1/10 of the cost.
I have tried 3 of the sets – or rather, my children have, and I just can’t get over how these are so good yet very low in price. The variety of fab, there will be a set to suit everyone, I am sure of that. Have a look at the website and be amazed at the prices, Santa must shop here for sure!

Fireman Sam Giant Jig-Saw Advent Calander.
Every year it’s the same last minute rush to get an advent calendar for the children, the variety increasing every year. To get a better quality chocolate calendar I usually pay a little extra yet the calendar itself is no more durable or attractive.
This year I was determined to do better than previous and choose Giant Jig-Saw Advent Calendar’s from Jumbo. These offer different themes for boys and girls.
My son is fireman Sam MAD, and has all the figures, Sam’s singing hat, and various books, so this was the obvious choice for him.
The jigsaw itself was great fun to do, especially when the he knew he was ‘building’ his own calendar. The thick, high quality cardboard was easy for him to slot the pieces together and I would imagine it will keep its shape, making it reusable and cost-effective – always good!
Under each ‘window’ are different festive images. I have put little ‘Christmassy’ chocolate treats behind each one also which will be an extra surprise. The finished jigsaw picture is lovely and colourful, and the fact that the troublesome but likeable Norman Price is featured is a big bonus as my son really likes him. The numbers are easy to see not like the usual calendars so my four year old will have no difficulty finding them when it’s his turn to open the window. A great buy that will no doubt be a future feature in our Christmas preparations.

Ca-Cool Masks – RRP £5.99
A great book for a rainy day. My 3 children all love this – and their ages range from 4yrs to 10 yrs. The Angry Bird masks are pressed out from the book and are easily built, with a lot of fun I might add! The instructions are clear and this is a great ‘all round’ entertaining book.

Magnetic Mix-Up – RRP £6.99
If you have never bought your kids a magnetic book, make this the year you do! These books entertain my kids for hours. There are over 30 features belonging to various Angry Birds to choose from and my kids have came up with some very interesting and hilarious combinations.

I am saving this book for my little niece this Christmas. It is the most beautiful book and a really sweet story as well. The underlying emphasis is on the tradition of Christmas and appreciating what we have.

Smart phones, iPod, iPad, Nintendo, U-tube – all the ways my children enjoy listening to their music and none of these ways I can admit to feeling 100% comfortable with. Aside from the puzzles, the box contains 2 trays which can be used to hold jewellery and other small items your Peppa Pig fan may wish to ‘hide’. The mechanism of the box lets the ‘secret’ bottom tray become revealed only when the top is lifted and the top tray moved to the side – I was rather intrigued with this box myself!
