Pharma Nord Evelle
I really enjoyed my visit to the Pharma Nord website! I know you many think that a pretty strange thing to say but I spend about 6 hours each day online and I know a good (and bad) website when I see one. It was an absolute pleasure to navigate around www.pharmanord.co.uk
The purpose of my visit was to check out some multi vitamins and mineral supplements with the aim of giving myself a much needed ‘boost’ from the inside out. I had read about the ‘wonder supplement’ Evelle from Pharma Nord and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

Slendertoxtea
Slendertoxtea is a revolution! A tea that curbs your appetite, increases your metabolism, helps keep you ‘regular’ and has no calories?? – pretty amazing stuff!
I was keen to try this and was praying it was easy to drink – I was determined to take this day and night Teatox for the full 14 days that my sachet’s allowed. I am delighted to report that it tastes pretty good – much nicer than plan old green tea, I might add!

Kallo Kids Milk Chocolate Rice Cake Minis
My kids go back to school next week and this term I have school break sussed. Last year I struggled with various ‘healthy’ snacks and thought I was onto a winner with fruit sticks until my daughter told me that she swapped these at school for sugary cereal bars! I was horrified.
This term my kids will have Kallo Kids Milk Chocolate Rice Cake Minis in their lunchbox’s. These have been well and truly tested by the kids and myself and I have full confidence that these will not be exchanged for any other bar – my kids simply love them!

Brita Fill&Go Water Bottle
My followers will know by now that I have a ‘bee in my bonnet’ about BPA in plastics! I spent a lot of time looking for BPA free water bottles for the kids when I was preparing for the new school term in September. Once again, I have returned to my ‘old favourite’ – Brita.
Brita water jugs have been adorning my kitchen bench for as long as I can remember. I have faith in them to the point that no-one dares fill the kettle with water straight from the tap!
I would be quite fussy with my water and rightly so – sometimes when I run the tap especially first thing in the morning the smell of chlorine is terribly strong. There is no way I would drink this unless it has passed through my filter jug.
My jug is rather large and I love that I always have plenty of filtered water ready to go. Brita also supply jugs for your fridge – these are narrower and fit neatly into the door or on the shelf.
I love the ‘Navelia’ and I have this in yellow. Its perfect for my fridge and my kids frequently reach for it when they want a drink of pure, clean cold water. The Marella comes in a great selection of fun bright colours to suit all styles and kitchens. It holds 1.4 litres of water and the flip top lid means I can refill this with one hand – perfect for a mum who is as busy as myself!
RRP £22.00 from Amazon and other good retailers.
However, no matter how large the water bottle, the kids always come home with it empty and tell me I should have given them 2 water bottles! Problem solved, once again, with Brita Fill&Go.
Have you checked out the new Brita Fill&Go water bottles? If not, do so – these are PERFECT for children heading out to school in the morning and need water on the go. They come in a variety of colours as well.
My daughter is going to secondary school next week and she will be away for quite a long day. She will have a Brita Fill&Go water bottle packed in her bag.
When she has this empty all she has to do is fill it again at a tap and this clever system filters the water in the bottle! Jenny prefers to drink from an upright water bottle and Brita have cleverly added a straw so she can do this. The straw can also be removed so you can tip the bottle back to drink either.
The Brita Fill&Go retails at £9.99 and comes with 4 filter discs. Britta recommend changing these weekly. They can easily be bought from local supermarkets or on Amazon.

Bio-Multi Woman Multivitamins from Pharma Nord
This is call-out to all the other mums who are ‘dreading’ the return to school – listen up – I have just the help you need!! You need nothing other than Bio-Multi Woman from Pharma Nord!
I have had a brilliant summer despite never actually experiencing 2 days in a row where the sun shone! I feel rested and revived but am still skeptical when I think of the beginning of September. My eldest daughter is moving to secondary school so I have an extra trip each morning. Needless to say, I am trying my best to prepare all we need well before September and to prepare my ‘body’ I am taking a multivitamin supplement from Pharma Nord.

Bio-Vitamin D3 from Pharma Nord
Summer – that’s not even funny any more! Yesterday I received a photo through Facebook of 2 little white cats sitting under an umbrella. The caption wrote ‘Noah called, he is picking us up in ten minutes’ and yes, I did laugh but I am not feeling jolly looking out the window at the continuous rain.
With the lack of sunshine and continuous rain keeping us indoors we should all be supplementing with Bio-Vitamin D3. Statistics show that over 1 billion people in the world are deficient in this particular vitamin. D3 is produced naturally in our bodies but we need sunshine to do so thus the massive worldwide deficiency and the need for supplementation.
I buy my vitamins from Pharma Nord. I know and trust this company, I have spoken to them on the phone and have been delighted with the way its a person and not a machine on the other line! This means so much.
Pharma Nord supply Bio-Vitamin D3 in various doses and its is will priced – 80 capsules for only £6.95.

Wonderful Pistachios
‘Wonderful® Pistachios from California are perfectly seasoned for a delicious flavour with a satisfying crunch’ (wonderful Pistachios)
I can vouch for the above! I have adored these fab nuts from I was a young girl. I remember going to stay with my Grandma during the summer holidays and pistachios were our little treat! Grandma would say that for months after we left she would find the shells all over the garden and house!
A Canadian based company, Wonderful Pistachios, have taken these nuts to another level. If you look at www.wonderfulpistachios.co.uk you will find all sorts of flavors at a great price. Choose from roasted salted, salt and pepper, sweet chili and even the nuts without any added salt.

Easter is fast approaching and with it, thoughts of chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate! I love Easter as it’s a perfect excuse to indulge, just after you’ve managed to shed those excess pounds post Christmas excesses!
My problem is not what type of egg to choose for myself – I will eat chocolate in any shape or form… my problem is when I am buying an egg as a gift and and want something that little bit different and special. Well, I am sorted this year with Elizabeth Shaw’s range of beautiful Milk and Dark chocolate eggs. These make perfect gifts and also for a little self indulgence!
