OXO Good Grips Pop Containers.
Anyone who hasn’t tried OXO’s Pop food storage containers doesn’t know what they’re missing.
Among others, I have this very useful 5.2l square Pop container which is tall, thin and very useful as a space saving storage container. It measures 15.8cm square by 31.4 cm high and guaranteed airtight by a unique push button system. Basically pop on the lid, press the button and that’s it! Sealed perfectly. This nifty little button also serves as a handle for removing the lid again.

I’ve always wanted to try one of these magic tools… Have you ever been in a posh restaurant and wondered how they manage to slice their vegetables so perfectly? Well, the answer is right here. The OXO mandolin slicer does all this with a minimum of fuss and hassle.

So, for Christmas dinner this year, you can impress family and friends with your perfectly sliced veggies. There are straight and wavy blades which can be adjusted by a dial on the side to set the thickness of the slice required. This doesn’t move around when in use and the handle is behind, nowhere near the sharp blades, so it’s much safer than using a knife. The blades are easily removed for washing and it comes with a neat storage container which fits underneath to catch your chopped veg.

Otone Audio Accento Speaker
Looking for stocking fillers this Christmas for the man in your life? Otone audio have lots of items to suit everyone, whether you are shopping for a teenager or your hubby.
The range of speakers vary, as does the price, so you can be sure to find a speaker to suit all budgets.
I went for the Accento speaker. This was an excellent choice as it will actually fit into a stocking!! It is very cool and trendy looking. We have the black and chrome version but you can go retro and choose the flag design instead.

The speaker allows music to be played from a smartphone or mp3 device while out and about. Perfect for my hubby as he loves his ‘vintage’ vehicles – (Scrappers!) which do not have a listening device. He can take his speaker out to the garage, and on one of his mountain trips in his old series 3 landrover! He will be delighted on Christmas morning as he has been looking for a small high quality speaker for some time.

BLACK by Black n’ Red.
I have been using Black n’ Red hardback notebooks for quite some time now. They simply are the best quality hardback notebook available. My teenage daughters use them for school also, they need books that will take abuse and not fall apart after a few months of rattling around a school bag.
Their new range is aptly called BLACK and I am addicted already!
The paper is 90gsm, which is that little bit heavier than most other notebooks. This means that ink pens and highlighters will not bleed through the pages.
I also love the fact that the paper is nice and smooth to the touch. The spine is strong but yet flexible so the book can be opened fully without a hump forming near the centre, which makes writing so much easier. The hardback cover is quite thick, which also prolongs the life of the book. Black n’ Red Notebooks have a ribbon for bookmarking, which is a nice traditional touch.
These books may seem a little more expensive than other brands on the market but you get what you pay for and if you want your Hardback notebook to last, well, these are the sensible choice.

Bois de Cashmere at Burford Garden Company.
When this candle arrived in the post I could smell the postman coming up the drive with it, even through a padded envelope and his ‘postman bag’!
Buy this candle – it is the most beautiful scent I have ever had the pleasure of smelling!
Made in Paris, Herve Gambs is very good at his job. He created room fragrances, furniture and other gift type items using natural materials. His style will suit any interior and his scent Bois de Cashmere is the crème de la crème of his work.
Bois de Cashmere or Agarwood and Vetiver simply cannot be described and I would urge you to smell this if you ever have the opportunity. I must have walked around with this candle for an hour after it arrived, with it held just under my noise!!
The glorious thing is that this candle will scent your home for 50 hours! Wow, isn’t that brilliant?
Whether you are trying to cover a smell or create a fragrance, this is the perfect candle.

OLPro Windbreak.
OLPro is one of my favourite companies. I find their products to be unbeatable value, trendy and very high quality. I think it is great (and reassuring) when a website encourages you to compare prices. OLPro are confident they provide the best value for money and purchases are shipped free with orders over £75 (Uk and NI). This alone would encourage me to continue shopping with them.

Simplehuman pet food bin.
Calling all pet owners…Have you ever wished you had a storage solution for your pet food, something that lets you in but keeps greedy doggies and pussycats out? Well, look no further, here it is.

The simplehuman pet food bin is a large, stainless steel, (fingerprint proof, may I add), storage bin with a capacity of 25 litres. This means it will easily hold a 10kg bag of dog food. The bin contains a removable plastic liner which is very easy to clean and BPA free, therefore it won’t leak nasty chemicals into your home.
What I really love is the fact that the lid locks shut and forms an airtight seal which is completely tamper proof. My Jack Russell is constantly hungry (mind you, you wouldn’t think it to look at him!), so it was always a struggle to find somewhere to hide her grub so she couldn’t sniff it out and help herself.
These clever people have thought of everything as this bin even has a scoop which conveniently attaches magnetically under the lid for easy access.
The simplehuman pet food bin is tall and slim so it doesn’t take up a lot of space and has built in rear wheels for easy moving. I keep mine under the worktop in my utility room and simply pull it out and fill when needed.
For anyone who stores pet food in a garage or shed, this bin also has the advantage of being rodent proof, something which is invaluable as those pesky mice can quickly eat their way into the bottom of a plastic bag and a lot of food is wasted. Using this bin, your pet food will be completely safe from attack.
If you are not an animal owner, this bin could be very useful for storing items such as bird food or barbeque charcoal.
Don’t be put off by the price of this marvellous bin, it is well worth it, in space saving terms alone. I really love mine.

I have a small office and don’t have a lot of space so I’m always looking for items which are useful without crowding me out. As a result, I don’t have an automatic paper shredder as I simply don’t have the space. But, like everyone else, I have sensitive documents that need to be shredded before throwing away. Halo Super Bright LED Pocket Torch Set.
Have you ever been completely stumped when trying to think of unusual stocking fillers, something other than the usual sweets, chocolate or silly but totally impractical gimmicks? Well, look no further, I’ve found it! Halo2cloud have a fab range of mini torches in cool and funky animal print designs like giraffe print or snakeskin print. These little torches are about 6 inches long and are powered by 9 leds, which emit a surprising amount of light. They have a useful wrist strap and the case is metal so it is excellent quality.
These little torches are perfect for just about anyone. They’re small enough to fit in your handbag or the glove box of your car. I keep one in my handbag, which is useful when I’m coming home in these dark evenings and it’s difficult to find the keyhole in the door! My daughter keeps one by her bedside for if she wakes up in the middle of the night so she can see whatever she needs to see without waking her sister (which saves rows all round!).
