Radox Home Spa Gift Set.
We all love the idea of a getaway spa weekend break, but let’s face it, it’s not possible very often, especially for busy mums like me…
So… if the closest you’re going to get to a relaxing spa break is a short time to yourself in the bathroom some evening the kids went to bed early(ish), why not try this fab new Home Spa set from an old favourite – Radox?
The set is made up of a bottle of Radiant shower scrub, a heavenly creamy concoction with little scrub particles, perfect for giving your skin that radiant natural glow of the freshly polished. If you’ve a bit more time than that, why not relax in the tub with a generous dollop of Soothing bath soak, guaranteed to relax your tired muscles and leave you refreshed and renewed.
To top off your spa experience, light the pretty neroli oil candles that are included in the set.
This is a really lovely set, and was almost as good as a session in a real spa. The products are luxurious and of the high quality you would expect from Radox, who have being making skincare products for as long as I can remember.
Go on, treat yourself. At a very reasonable £7.50 RRP per set, they would also suit as last minute stocking fillers this Christmas. The range of gift sets vary with different accessories and scents so there will be one to suit everyone.
Available from Boots, Superdrug and some supermarkets.

Sea Island Coffee – Jamaica Blue Mountain.
Calling all coffee lovers!
Most coffee connoisseurs would agree that Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee is one of the world’s finest coffees. Clifton Mount is Jamaica’s most prolific coffee estate, producing Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee for many generations, which is enjoyed nowadays by coffee lovers worldwide.
For any of you who haven’t had the pleasure of tasting this exquisite coffee, Jamaica Blue Mountain is a smooth creamy coffee with hints of chocolate and floral undertones. The aroma on opening the tin is heavenly, even before you sample your first sip of this delicious brew. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely sweet aftertaste from this coffee, as I personally don’t like strong acidic coffee.
It has won many Great Taste awards and is roasted in the UK and packaged to order, guaranteeing ultimate freshness. GQ magazine has called it ‘the best coffee in the world’, high praise indeed.
It comes in an elegant 125g Tin Gift Set and would make a perfect gift for a coffee lover in the family. The Gift Tin is available in Ground or Whole Bean, so you can purchase whatever suits your coffee-making routine. With Christmas just around the corner, I will be getting my hands on a few more of these, as they will solve a lot of my Christmas Gift dilemmas. Priced at £16.00 it’s a perfect stocking filler!

Jabra Tag.
The best thing since sliced bread! I love the Jabra Tag.
But what is it? It is a Bluetooth stereo headset with FM radio in a brilliant package, an iconic dog tag design.
This stylish accessory can be worn clipped to clothing or around your neck. It is perfect for busy people like me who likes listening to music, but needs to easily switch from music to taking a phone call. No more missed calls while I have my ear plugs in, and no more fumbling about looking for my phone! Absolutely brilliant and most definitely designed by a woman!
The stereo sound quality is second to none, and the earbuds are truly ‘noise isolating’. I mean it, this is a must with 3 children in the house, I have them in situ even without the music on!! Ahhh, peace and quiet.
I can listen to the radio or music from my phone while pottering around the house making the dinner and if the phone rings, my Jabra Tag alerts me and I can accept the call with one tap. When the call ends, I am back to the music – I keep telling my daughter I am not the only mummy who loves’ One Direction!
Now for the technical bit. The jabra Tag comes with up to 7 hours of music time and 8 hours of talk time, which is great while out and about.
The box contains:
Jabra TAG Headset
AC Charger
2 Eargel Sets
Quick Start Manual
Warranty Leaflet
Registration Documentation
Warning Leaflet
This has simply got to be the most useful item I have ever reviewed and I wouldn’t part with it. In my opinion, the perfect Christmas gift for men, women and older children who love their music but want to stay in touch at the same time. Don’t wait till Christmas shopping season, these will sell out!
Available from www.jabra.com RRP £59.99

OLPro ‘Glow Tops’ Tent Pegs and Melamine set.
I have always wanted to take my family camping as my earliest memories are of our weekends away with mum and dad on camping trips. I would love my children to have the same experience, even if it is just at the local camp site 10 miles down the road!
Hubby has yet to be talked into buying a tent, but I have a plan. I have a lovely, very intelligent set of tent pegs from OLPro that glow in the dark.
They do this to ensure that no matter how long you have been at the campfire having a beer, when its time to turn in, you will know which tent is yours! Smart aren’t they? Hubby was impressed too and I could hear the cogs turning – ‘Now, all we need is a tent!’ I have a feeling this is the year! These tent pegs are strong – very strong. Made from steel and 8.5 inches long, and of course, the glow in the dark tops. A very good idea OLPro. The tops collect light during the day and so light up at night. Buy these now as they are reduced from £3.99 down to £2.99 for a pack of 6.
If you are thinking of buying a tent, don’t purchase until you have checked www.olproshop.com They have a joyous range of colourful tents to suit all needs.
I have picked out a super cool red and tan one, 6-8 birth, to go with my tent pegs! Colour is important and I love red. Men however tend to ignore colour and are fixated on functionality and statistics. So, for the men – OLPro tents are 5000mm Hydrostatic Head, no, I don’t know what that means either! But on further investigation (google) it means they can suffer 5 metres of water before they are even tempted to leak. Very good to know as it never rains but it pours in Ireland, the price we have to pay for green grass apparently!
OLPro’s good ideas doesn’t stop there, they have a great range of camping accessories. Their melamine table ware is very trendy and contemporary. My favourite would have to be the Berrow Hill set with tiny printed camping accessories and trees. It does look the part and perfect as you will have no breakages. The sets are made from 100% melamine and safe for eating outdoors, conforming to all EU standards. These sets are also on sale, the 8 piece reduced from £24.99 to £18.99. 16 piece sets are also available.
So, whether you are looking for a tent for the back yard or planning to trek over a mountain, look no further than OLPro for tents and camping accessories. I think it is great (and reassuring) when a website encourages you to compare prices. OLPro are confident they provide the best value for money and purchases are shipped free with orders over £75 (Uk and NI).

Christmas is fast approaching and with it, thoughts of fabulous food, sweets and of course chocolate. And when you think of chocolate, top of the list must be Ferrero Rocher. Not content with just one variety, Ferrero are now offering a collection of chocolate delights all in one box, known simply as the Ferrero Collection. This glamorous assortment is a perfect gift for that special someone. There are three different varieties in the box. These would be perfect as an after dinner treat to impress your guests or simply as a treat for yourself or someone special.
The Ferrero collection is available at all good retailers nationwide and can be purchased in a 16 piece box or a larger 32 piece box. A real store cupboard essential if ever there was one! RRP £9.29.
Seven has always been my lucky number, and seven years after Ferrero Rocher came to be, Ferrero launched Raffaello. In my opinion, these are the ultimate in gorgeousness.
Completely unique, there is no other chocolate bar or sweet that tastes like these. A whole almond wrapped in luxurious creamy filling and enclosed in a crispy shell coated in coconut flakes. Known as the ‘only pleasure that transports you to a carefree world’ (Ferrero), treat yourself to a gorgeous tin of Raffaello. RRP £8.99. The tin itself is perfect for storing household items after the chocolates are gone. We have hair accessories in ours. So many people have opened the tin and the look of disappointment on their faces is priceless!
For Christmas 2013 ferrero have a vast selection of chocolates presented in many ways to suit all budgets priced as low as £1.35 up to £12.49. The variety of presentations for Christmas are really great and perfect gifts for family, friends, teachers, etc.

My Baby Log Memory Chest, First Heart Beat and Hand/foot Prints.
My Baby Log is a family run business with some unique products every mother would treasure. Barbara (founder) has designed and produced exquisite Memory boxes, with many accessories which can be purchased along with the boxes.
The boxes come in 3 colours, blue, pink and coffee and cream. They are super strong and finished beautifully with delicate hinges and a clasp. Inside you will find a family tree to be filled out, which will put your memory to the test! This is really well designed as the image of a tree is on the background.
This piece can then be lifted to reveal storage space and included is little boxes for the first tooth, first curl and hospital bands. There is a beautiful pocket tied with ribbon to store items such as scan photos, name cards, etc and opposite this, you will find a lovely poem written for the new baby.
A keepsake hand and foot print set can be added. I loved this and have a set of my childrens hand and footprints. They adore looking at them and measuring their hands to see how they have grown. The kit is inkless so suitable for the delicate skin of a newborn.
The Memory box costs £44.98 without the hand/foot print kit and £49.97 with the kit. I would definitely be adding the kit for so little extra.
The box is L36xW25xH24cm and it really is a piece of history for your child. Imagine your mum presenting you with a Memory Box like this when you reached 21 years of age – wouldn’t you be delighted? I know I would love one and that is why I hoard all my childrens little bits and bobs. This box is big enough to hold lots of your treasured moments including photos and other sentimental items.
So, calling all mothers and mothers-to-be, you will not find a Memory Box like this anywhere else, it is simply exquisite.

Do you ever wish you could put into words just how much someone means to you? Visit www.ipromise.to and buy a set today.
I Promise lets you send ‘thoughts not things’ in a beautifully designed and luxurious envelope. The promises can be bought in a set of 3, 5 or 10. They are printed on beautiful velvety card with elegant foil backing.
The design process begins with picking the envelope, letterbox red or royal blue. I choose the red one. Next, you write your promises, stuck for ideas? There are lots to choose from and you can even pick a co-ordinating icon. These were lovely, some serious and some funny, the theme is up to you. Your promise can be shipped to yourself or the recipient with no delivery charge.
What a wonderful idea, I had such fun with mine. I immediately thought of my mum who does so much for us, but I wanted it to be light-hearted as well. My 3 promises were – I Promise to: Visit with the kids every weekend, Phone you every day for a chat, Move in with you when you are old (with my dog). You may think, ‘What is light-hearted about that?’, but my poor mum can’t get rid of me, I constantly phone her and keep her back when she is busy and my dog is not house trained very well! Mum called me and said she laughed till she cried.
So, choose whether you what to whisk your girlfriend to Venice, go skydiving, or just out for lunch. Your little gift of ‘thoughts’ will be sure to thrill the recipient, just like mine did.
A set of 3 promises in an envelope with free delivery just costs £9.50.
They would be perfect for any-time of year, but especially at Christmas.
