Eye creams – which one do we buy? There are so many on the market, esch with their individual claims to tighten the skin, reduce wrinkles and make us look 10 years younger!
I choose the Skin Doctors Instant Eyelift as it has been recognized nationwide as being ‘brilliant’ and has been awarded ‘Best Classic Cosmetic Product’ at the 2013 Beauty Awards.
I was so impressed with this cream, it really lifts the skin with a tightening effect you can feel instantly. Wrinkles are smoothed and puffiness is reduced – these are the 2 main causes for concern around our eyes and they are both dealt with by this product. The tightening and firming effect can last up to 8 hours. This is the perfect product to carry us over the party season looking youthful and wow – what a gift! I would have estimated this product to be way higher priced than it actually is – RRP £20.40
How to use: use daily or for special occasions. Use on clean, dry skin. Shake bottle slightly before use…place one drop on your finger and apply in a crescent shape motion with three strokes to form a thin layer under the eye. (Skin Doctor)

Ben 10 Transformation Station.
Ben 10 – the ever popular little boy with whom my little boy is obsessed with! He has Ben himself, and countless monsters, even my daughters play with these toys. They are from the Bandai group so very high quality and they will last and last.

My son’s latest addition is the transformation Station. I like this as it gives him somewhere to base his play around – before this, Ben and the aliens could have been found anywhere. Kitchen worktop, garden shed, even my sauce-pan drawer has been invaded with these figures. They now all stay around the transformation station which helps keep the house tidy and clutter free.
Ben can be placed within the station where he can transform into his alien form – this is really fun as it is similar to what the children watch on television.
Ben and an alien are included with the set, so this would be an excellent starter set to buy.
Other playset accessories can be purchased to add to the set and these include vehicles and a missile shooting turret.

Sainsbury’s have a gorgeous range of hampers in store which make shopping for Christmas gifts a ‘piece of cake’.
Have a browse if you have some last minute gifts to get. The hampers are well presented and there is a good variety.
The ‘Nordic’ hamper is beautiful, the gifts are arranged in a traditional style basket with ribbon detailing. Inside you will find a selection of foods complimenting each other very well.
Greek olives, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and flatbread come packaged with a luxury candle holder shaped as a house. This would make an excellent gift for mum’s or a special friend and excellent value at £25.

Lego Darth Vader Alarm Clock
I would have classed this as a clock for boys but my daughter loves it! She couldn’t get to sleep at night and we eventually discovered this was because the clock in her room ‘ticked’ too loudly!
This Darth Vader alarm clock by Lego looks great. His legs and arms move fully so just like a mini figure. The clock is displayed in digital and lights up in red when you press on the helmet – this is great as my daughter knows what time it is when it is dark. Pressing the helmet also activates the snooze button. The alarm can be easily set and reset so this is perfect for children as it’s not too complicated.
The Lego Darth Vader Alarm Clock stands 9” tall so a really good item and a great gift for not a lot of money.
